Heart Mural in East Village

LOCATION: NEW YORK

Hey guys, as you might have seen on my Instagram I spent the last week in N e w  Y o r k  C i t y. This was my second time in this city and I hope it won't be my last! New York is so diverse. It feels like there is dozens of different countries fit into one small island. A concrete jungle that never sleeps. The list of opportunities is endless. Whatever you are in the mood of you can find it 24 hours, 7 days a week. There is so much to do, so much to see, you can barely touch the surface in a one-week visit.

I always try to find a balance between sightseeing and relaxing while traveling because it sometimes can get quite overwhelming to soak everything in but it is pretty challenging to do so in New York because you just want to make the most of your short trip.

While strolling through East Village the other day I found this cute heart mural alongside pretty other graffiti art work. I really do like street art. Do you remember my pictures from this amazing street art in Melbourne, Australia?

So I obviously stopped by in East Village and couldn't resist taking pictures in front of this beautiful heart wall.

If you are interested to go and explore by yourself you will find the wall on 1st street between 1st and 2nd Avenue. It’s a 3 minute walk and easy to find. So grab your camera and enjoy!

  1. Oh my goodness how pretty! I'm always so envious of people who discover artwork like this in big cities, I bet that was so satisfying for whoever painted it once they were finished to stand back and look at it, I always find it so fascinating how someone can create something like that from scratch! And of course it makes a brilliant backdrop for a picture too ;-) You look lovely, especially your leather jacket and red lip! Great post :-)
