Coffee at New York Times Square

Thinking back of  N e w  Y o r k  C i t y  I really miss drinking my morning coffee in the middle of the hustle and bustle the streets of New York have to offer. Brightly adorned with billboards and advertisements, Times Square is a must while visiting New York City!

No matter where I am in the world, I love getting up early, sitting in the subway or in a café and observing the locals on their way to work, university, school or wherever they are heading to. Watching them. Trying to discover the similarities and differences of their and my own way of living. Getting inspired.
Traveling allowed me to understand that what we might experience in Europe or even in the United States, can be completely different elsewhere. I noticed that the cultural differences can be almost quite overwhelming at times. We grew up on different books, different movies, different foods, and all of this leads to having different ways of living, of thinking, of interacting. For me, that is the most interesting part of traveling. Discovering new people, new cultures and if traveling was free, you'd definitely never see me again... haha.

Anyways, Christmas is around the corner and I realize how grateful I am to be alive. I’ve always embraced every second as if it was the last but turning on the news nowadays only proves again how fragile our lives are and how important it is to take every opportunity to do good.

We have to keep living, we have to manage to not let things pull us down. It won’t take our smile off our faces, it won’t stop us from being free, from enjoying life, from loving, from going out. So let’s think about moving forward and enjoy our lifes!

Merry Christmas and a very happy new year to each and every one of you!
