The 5 Best Instagram Spots in Busan

The most beautiful and Instagram worthy places in Busan, South Korea.

Are you a Blogger, Instagrammer or enthusiastic photographer and planning to visit Busan? Then you can hopefully find some inspiration in this blogpost.

Ever since I moved to Seoul, people were telling me about this city on the coast in the south of South Korea. This summer I finally got to visit and spent a long weekend in Busan for my birthday.
Busan is the second most popular city in South Korea after Seoul with a population of 3,5 million inhabitants.

I always try to find the most beautiful places and collected my top 5 spots in Busan here for you.

Gamcheon Culture Village
When I started to look for places in Busan on Instagram, this village was for sure the most featured place. The Gamcheon Culture Village is also called the „Machu Picchu of Busan“ because of its staircase houses built on the foothills of a coastal mountain.

Haeundae Beach
Haeundae Beach is the place to be in Busan. It is the most famous beach in Busan where various cultural events and festivals are held throughout the year.

This beach is busy all year round but sunbeds and umbrellas are only available from June until the end of August (Korean swimming season).

Café Rooftop
If you are looking for the perfect Instagram spot then you have to visit the Café Rooftop.

Located in Cheongsapo this cafe offers stunning sea views of Heaundae from above. The café is overall nicely decorated with various accessoires and photo zones and it is for sure one of the places to take photos in Busan.

Oryukdo Island
When I first saw a photo of the Orysukdo coastal cliff in Busan I would have never thought that this is in South Korea because it looked like an exotic island. Oryukdo Island is a rock island made purely of stones. The ocean view is truly amazing and there is a staircase down the cliff side to enjoy the views.

Next to the Island is the Oryukdo Skywalk which is a construction with a glass bridge that is 35 meter high and 15 long and offers stunning views of the waves trough the transparent floor.

Café Wonders
This café still seems to be a hidden gem as I haven't found a lot of reviews for it yet.

It is located right next to Gwangalli beach and is the perfect spot for brunch with a beautiful view of the Gwangandaegyobridge and the beach.
The food and beverages were very good also.
